Girls' Golf - State Champion

In her second appearance at state, Sycamore senior Kellen Alsip shot a 147 on OSU's gray course to win the State Championship.  Sycamore's team finished eighth overall. Alsip becomes the third female golfer from a GMC member school to win the state D-1 championship in the twenty-three years that it has been held.  Her two round total of 147 matches Carling Coffing's (Middletown) winning total in 2001 and is second only to Emily Wright's (Mason) then record total of 142 carded in 2010.
