Mason Bowling Just Keeps Rolling Along

01/29/2016

Mason's Sean Merritt accomplished the ultimate feat for a bowler on Wednesday, rolling a perfect 300 game against Reading at Crossgate Lanes. He is the second Comet this season to accomplish perfection. Bradon Sauer bowled a perfect game against St. Xavier back on November 30th.

Merritt's 300 came in the first game and he followed it up with a 255 in the 2nd game of the day for an amazing 555 series. Evan Haas also had a great day managing to throw 21 strikes in his 2 games and bowled 4 pins better than Merritt with a 559 series.

If that wasn't enough, every Mason starter bowled over a 400 series and set a school match record of 3174 pins. The former record was 3113. The Comets defeated Reading by a final score of 3174-1865.
