2016 Butler County Sports Hall of Fame Class Has Strong GMC Flavor

The 2016 induction class of the Butler County Sports Hall of Fame is just another example of the excellence found within the Greater Miami Conference. Out of eleven inductees being honored in a ceremony and banquet on Sunday, November 20th, seven former athletes earned their "stripes" in GMC competition.

Inductees from the GMC include: Bill Evans - Hamilton Garfield, Amber Gray - Lakota West, Scott Grevey - Hamilton Taft, Janice Bierly Harshey - Middletown, Jeff Langdon - Fairfield, Ron Spurlock - Hamilton Taft, and Adam Thomas - Fairfield.  These inductees join the ranks of 355 outstanding Butler County athletes and coaches who have been recognized for athletic achievements and contributions. 

The 2016 induction ceremony and dinner will be held on Sunday, November 20th at the Courtyard by Marriott, 1 Riverfront Plaza, Hamilton, Ohio.  The evening’s festivities will begin with a social hour from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM with dinner immediately to follow.  The induction program will begin promptly at 7:00 PM. Given limited seating, this occasion is a “reservation only” event and open to the public with tickets being $25.
