Southwest District Cross Country Meet Specifics
The "Road to Columbus" for GMC Cross Country runners begins this weekend with the Southwest District meet at the Voice of America Park. Nine out of ten GMC schools will competing at the VOA District site with Middletown being the lone GMC school competing at the Cedarville College SW District site.
Division I Girls: Race 1: 10:00 a.m. Race 2: 10:30 a.m.
Division I Boys: Race 1: 11:00 a.m. Race 2: 11:30 a.m.

Teams will place themselves in either Race A or B, determined by seed placement. In Race A, 16 Teams, the top five (5) finishing teams will move to Regional Competition, and the top finishing team will be declared District Champion, and the next finishing team will be declared District Runner-up. Individuals that finish in the top twenty (20) qualify to Regionals. In Race B, 12 Teams, the top four (4) finishing teams move on to Regional competition and the top finisher will be the District Champion while the next finisher will be District Runner-up. The top sixteen (16) individuals will move on to Regionals.
Parking and Admission:
Parking: There will NOT be a charge for VOA park admittance and/or parking.
Admission to Cross Country Course: $6.00 for all spectators (including seniors, school aged kids, and athletes / coaches not on the "official" pass list).
