Sycamore's Paige Weitz Bowls Over Competition with Perfect Game

While only a sophomore, Sycamore's Paige Weitz has already established herself as one of Cincinnati's elite high school girls bowlers. To underscore her consistency and prowess on the lanes, Paige just recorded the GMC's first girls perfect 300 game last week. As high school bowlers across Ohio now enter the "second season" of OHSAA tournament competition, Paige Weitz has concluded the regular high school season with a GMC leading high average of 204 pins per game and a GMC leading high series of 513 pins.

See the Link Provided below to a great personal interest story by the Cincinnati Enquirer's Scott Springer on Paige Weitz's perfect game. Many thanks to Scott Springer for sharing his insights and reflections.

With GMC bowling competition being amongst the best in Ohio, the conference girls programs boast several outstanding teams and athletes who definitely understand the game and will be factors in the state championships.

Best of luck to all GMC Bowlers in the OHSAA State Tournament!
