Sycamore Head Baseball Coach Attains Career Victory Milestone with 300th Win


With tonight’s 3-2 victory over Turpin on the road, Sycamore Head Baseball Coach, Pete Muehlenkamp, earned his 300th career victory. Coach Muehlenkamp is currently in his 15th season as a Head Baseball Coach.  Prior to taking the helm at Sycamore, he guided the Reading Blue Devils for 14 seasons. The Blue Devils won 72% of their games with a record of (268-106). He led the Blue Devils to nine Sectional Championships, two District Championships and four CHL Championships. In 2009, he guided the Blue Devils to the State Final Four. He started his career at Hughes and led them to a league championship in his third (and last) year.  His overall career record is 300-152. Coach Muehlenkamp is an alumnus of Sycamore High School and played outfield for the Aviators on their last league championship team in 1987.
