Lakota East's Dustin Horter Improves on His Own 3200 Meter School Record

On Saturday evening, at the Eastern Relays in Louisville, Dustin Horter overcame very poor racing conditions to shatter his own school 3200 meter record of 9:02.79.  Dustin ran back-to-back 4:28 miles in pouring rain to finish the extremely competitive 3200 meter race in a State-leading time of 8:56.62, besting the 2nd place finisher by over 10 seconds, and knocking 6 seconds off his own previous Lakota East (and Lakota District) record.  This was also the 3rd fastest 3200 meter ever run on Kentucky soil.
