GMC Appreciates the Service of Retiring Track and CC Official George Carl

05/30/2017

As an expression of sincere appreciation for service and dedication to GMC athletes, the Greater Miami Conference makes a point to recognize varsity officials who are retiring after 20 years or more of service. Each year, numerous officials hang up their whistles for the last time and the GMC gratefully acknowledges the longevity of their efforts.

The latest official to retire with GMC honors is long-time track and cross country official, George Carl. With a tremendous wealth of experience in coaching as well as officiating, George Carl has been stalwart in Greater Cincinnati Track / Field and Cross Country officiating circles for quite some time. As one of the longest tenured officials to ever officiate on the behalf of student-athletes, George Carl rides into the sunset with 43 years of service under his belt.

George Carl represents the very best in the world of officiating.  He has spent a dedicated lifetime in service of young people and he will be missed.  Many thanks for the great memories!
