OHSAA Track and Field Championships Close GMC Year In Fashion


GMC track and field athletes finished the athletic year on a high note in the OHSAA State Championships in Columbus today.  On the boys side of the ledger, Mason with a 7th place team finish and Sycamore with a 13th place result represented the conference in outstanding fashion. On the girls side, Mason tallied a fifth place finish, while Lakota East cruised in at 12th overall.

State Champions - Mason -  4 x 800 relay - Hallum, Ullom, Min, Brush

State Runner-up - Lakota East -  4 x 100 relay - Clark, Heath, Stoughton, Floyd

State Runner-up - Fairfield - Long Jump - Tyra Kennedy 

State Runner-up - Mason - Shot Put - Amaya King

Third Place - Lakota East - 100 Meter Dash - Serena Clark
