Oak Hills Hires New Coach To Lead The Girls Basketball Program

We are excited to announce the hiring of our new Head Girls Basketball Coach, Chris Gramke.  Coach Gramke brings an incredible amount of coaching experience to the sidelines from virtually every level of the pnrofession.  In addition to a successful High School Basketball career (117 wins as a Head Girls Coach) and AAU career (15 years), he was also the Assistant Coach for the NKU Women's Basketball Program that went to the Final Four in 1999 and won the DII National Championship in 2000.

Quote From Athletic Director, Tony Hemmelgarn:  We believe we are on the front end of something very special at Oak Hills.  We interviewed many good candidates, but Chris really stood out.  He is familiar with basketball on the west side and is respected throughout Greater Cincinnati for his ability to develop girls basketball players and teams.  We are excited that he has chosen to join ours!

Gramke is married to Michelle, and has two sons: Alex (21), Max (19), and a daughter, Camryn (16).

Quote from Chris Gramke: I am honored to have the opportunity to coach at Oak Hills High School, one of the best school districts in all of Ohio. I’m excited to be a part of the rich tradition of the Highlander girls basketball program and look forward to the challenge of competing in the GMC,  arguably the top basketball league in the state.

Gramke's appointment is expected to become official at the next School Board meeting.
