Bill Schroer Selected as Highlander Boys Head Soccer Coach


Oak Hills Press Release Regarding Head Coach Bill Schroer:

We are excited to announce Bill Schroer as the next Head Coach of our Boys Soccer program (pending School Board approval!)   He brings 10 years of experience at the varsity level as a Varsity Assistant Coach. He is also a long time club coach on the West Side of Cincinnati and is currently coaching three teams at Cincinnati West including two Academy Elite teams and one Academy Red team.  

Athletic Director, Tony Hemmelgarn, had this to say about Coach Schroer, “We interviewed many quality candidates. What stood out about Bill was not only his passion for the sport, but for his commitment to developing young men and pushing them to create a great team and program experience.  I am excited to see what the future holds!”

His vision includes uniting the Oak Hills community from the youth level through high school so everyone is excited about the prospect of competing and succeeding at Oak Hills and in the challenging GMC. Coach Schroer say, “I am excited for the opportunity of leading my alma mater, as a former player and graduate of Oak Hills High School. I look forward to the challenge of pushing our student athletes to achieve success in both the classroom and on the pitch.”
