Ali Green Named to East Girls Golf Helm


There will be a new leader this coming fall for the Lakota East Girls Golf program.  The athletic department has picked Ali Green to continue the recent successes of the Thunderhawk girls golf team.  Green has been an assistant coach for the Hawks the past two seasons.  

A graduate of Ashland University, Green was 1st Team All-Ohio and 1st Team All-City during her senior year at Lakota West where she was a 4-year letter winner in the sport.  She was the Cincinnati Women's Metropolitan Amateur Champion in 2017.  At Ashland, her women's golf team made 3 NCAA National Championship Appearances and in 2016 was the East Super Regional Champion.  She was a four-year starter throughout her college career where she earned many awards and recognition for both athletic and academic accomplishments. 

Ali is currently an intervention specialist at Reading Middle School where she works with severely disabled children.  During the summer months, she assists in local youth clinics at Four Bridges Country Club.
