Mason Boys Tennis Duels the Sycamore Aviators For GMC Title

For the past eight years, the Greater Miami Conference has seen either the Sycamore Aviators or the Mason Comets walk away with the conference title. 2018 was no exception.  As the GMC tournament progressed, the Comets and Aviators squared off in the finals on all five courts with Mason taking four of the five matches. It was only fitting that Mason and Sycamore, the toast of Greater Cincinnati tennis, should meet in this epic showdown. Sycamore had been the reigning GMC Champion for three of the past four years and had laid claim to the GMC title 21 times in the past 27 years. Mason now has put together a "repeat" performance as conference champions. Mason is ranked number one in the state OTCA polls, closely followed by Sycamore at the number three.  Given the accomplishments and rankings,  GMC tennis, collectively, maybe the best tennis conference in Ohio.  Congratulations to both the Comets and Aviators for an outstanding tournament.
