GMC Football Off To A Fast Start

In the land of Ohio High School playoff hopefuls, non-conference victories are extremely valuable in garnering those "outside the conference" Harbin Points.  With GMC football schedules consisting of two non-conference games and eight conference contests, it is very important to rack up those non-conference wins to build Harbin Points collected from other conferences.  In a simplified version, GMC teams will receive points from defeated opponents as they defeat other teams on their schedules.  In the regular GMC varsity football schedule, conference schools tend to trade Harbin Points back and forth throughout the 8 game league season making non-conference wins extremely valuable.

Opening night was a great start for the conference on the non-conference stage with GMC schools going 8-2.
