GMC Cross Country Marches On To The OHSAA State Championships


The Greater Miami Conference continued to finish strong with multiple teams qualifying to the OHSAA State meet on Saturday, November 3rd at the National Trail Raceway in Hebron, Ohio.  Leading the way to the OHSAA Championships is the 2018 Boys OHSAA Regional Champion Conant Smith from Middletown, who decisively won the boys race with a time of 15:23.09.  Also on the boys side the GMC is proudly represented by the Mason Comets boys squad won the team event with a score of 46 points, outdistancing 2nd place St. Xavier by 9 points.

GMC Girls Cross Country has been a state-wide strength for many years and this year is no exception.  The Lakota Thunderhawks finished with a strong second place team score, closely followed by the Mason Comets in fifth place, both qualifying for the state meet on November 3rd as well.
