DICK'S Sporting Goods Salutes GMC Football Standouts

DICK'S Sporting Goods appreciates outstanding achievements in sports. During the 2018 GMC Football season, the conference saw several individuals and coaches bring honors and accolades to the conference.  Out of the 10 team conference, the GMC placed 4 squads in the OHSAA playoffs with the Colerain Cardinals moving all the way to the State Division I Finals where the Cards eventually bowed out to Lakewood St. Edwards 24-10.

Emanating from another outstanding GMC football campaign, came outstanding performers as selected by the GMC Head Football Coaches. The GMC "Offensive Player of the Year" honor went to JuTahn McClain from Fairfield. JuTahn lead the GMC in rushing as was also selected as first team All-Ohio. "Defensive Player of the Year" honors went to Colerain's Ivan Pace Jr., who was also selected as Ohio's "Defensive Player of the Year" By Ohio's Sportswriters.  The Greater Miami Conference "Coach of the Year" as selected by his peers was Colerain's Tom Bolden. Coach Bolden has been selected as the GMC "COY" for the past five years.  A testament to the ongoing achievements of the Cardinal program.
