Hamilton High Selects Nate Mahon as Head Football Coach

The Hamilton City School District and Board of Education proudly announces the naming of our new high school head football coach, Nate Mahon - pending BOE approval on December 18, 2018.

Coach Mahon is currently the head football coach at Little Miami where he led the Panthers to their first playoff appearance since 1992 this past season.

Prior to Little Miami, Coach Mahon was the head football coach at Central Daupin East High School in Pennsylvania and Northwest High School in Hamilton County.

Overall, Nate has accumulated an overall record of 40 - 25 and has led two different schools to the OHSAA playoffs - coaching in 5 total playoff games.

Coach Mahon is a graduate of Hamilton High School (Class of 2003) and was most recently inducted into the 22nd Athletic Hall of Fame class of Hamilton High School in January of 2018.

Nate’s commitment to Hamilton and his ability to connect with student/athletes, parents, and community set him apart from a very deep and talented pool of appilcants.

Nate will be assigned as a secondary school assistant principal in addition to his head football coaching duties for the 2019-20 school year.
