GMC OHSAA 2019 Swimming Champions


The Greater Miami Conference had a great performance at the OHSAA State Swimming Championships, bringing home 9 OHSAA State Championships.  The GMC acquitted itself quite well in team scoring as well, on the boys side with Sycamore finishing 2nd, the Mason Comets finishing 4th and Lakota East finishing 14th.  On the girls side of the pool, the Mason Comets team won their second consecutive OHSAA State title.

Individual OHSAA Champions

Carson Foster (Sycamore) - 200 Yd. free and 100 yd. backstroke

Jake Foster (Sycamore) - 200 yd. IM and 100 yd. breaststroke

Relay State Champions

200 yd. medley relay (Sycamore) Carson Foster, Jake Foster, Ansel Froass, and Elliott Carl.

400 yd. free relay (Sycamore) Ansel Froass, Noah Patterson, Jake Foster, and Carson Foster.
