Mason Claims 12th Consecutive GMC All-Sports Championship


Winning every GMC All-Sport since joining the conference in the fall of 2007, the Mason Comets claimed their 12th consecutive title this spring on the strength of capturing (or sharing) 15 GMC championships out of the 26 sports / activities contested across the league.

Mason Comet championships came in: Girls volleyball, Boys soccer, Girls soccer, Boys Cross Country, Girls golf, Girls tennis, Boys swimming, Girls swimming, Boys bowling, Academic Quiz, Chess, Baseball, Boys track, Boys tennis, and Boys lacrosse.

All-sport points are earned by conference finishes. Winning a conference title earns 11 points, second place earns 9 points, third place receives 8 points, and in descending point order with a last place finish receiving 1 point.

School point totals for 2018-19 are as follows:

Mason 253, Lakota East 201, Sycamore 181, Lakota West 172.5, Fairfield 160.5, Oak Hills 149, Colerain 85.5, Hamilton 82.5, Princeton 80, and Middletown 64.
