Senior Jake Foster is an All-American swimmer and member of the USA Swimming Junior National Team. Jake for the first time this year swam for Sycamore High School...and what a year it was!

Jake set numerous school and state records and was named the top high school swimmer in the nation by the National High School Coaches Association.

Jake won four Ohio state swimming championships, setting records along the way. Individually, he was Ohio state champion in the 100 breaststroke and the 200 IM in a state-record time of 1:43.99. His preliminary time of 53.53 in the 100 breaststroke was also a state record. He was also a member of two Ohio state champion relay teams - the 200 medley relay in a state record time of 1:28.48 and the 400 freestyle relay team. Jake was named Co-MVP of the Ohio state championship meet, an honor he shared with his younger brother Carson, a Sycamore junior, who also took home four gold medals at the Ohio state championships.

Jake is a major swimmer on the national and international scene and swims for the Mason Manta Rays as his club team. Last summer as a member of Team USA competing in the Junior Pan Pacific Games in Fiji, Jake brought home a silver medal in the 400-meter individual medley competing against some of the best swimmers in the world.

A great student who is a Scholastic All-American and a member of National Honor Society, Jake was the #1 high school swimming recruit in the nation for the class of 2019, and he will swim collegiately at the University of Texas.
