Mason Boys Cross Country Wins Fifth Straight GMC Title

The Mason Boys Cross Country team rolled to another GMC title at VOA Park on Saturday. The Comets tied their school record of an all-time low score with 23 points. The race was a Personal Record -fest with all seven varsity runners recording their best times ever.

Senior Johan Meyer took individual honors and was proclaimed GMC Runner of the Year. Using a tight pack, the Comets secured first-team all-Conference honors for their whole varsity team. Meyer was followed by Sophomores Alex DeRoussel and Aiden Amshoff. Then came in Freshman Isaac Schachleiter and Junior Austin Cooper to round out the scoring.
