Greater Miami Conference Arguably One of Ohio's Best Leagues


The competition during the regular season between GMC league members ranks amongst the very best in all of Ohio.  From the perspective of fall to spring in both boys and girls sports, the GMC rates as one of the very finest co-ed conferences in the entire mid-west. Once the conference seasons have been completed, our Greater Miami Conference squads and athletes enjoy high levels of success on the OHSAA tournament stage. 

To underscore these successes by sport, Greater Miami Conference fall achievements are as follows:

Boys Cross Country: OHSAA State Champions - Lakota West also Regional Runner-up and SW District Champs, Mason District Runner-up and 10th place in OHSAA state meet 

Girls Cross Country:  Mason 4th place in OHSAA state meet and SW District Runner-up. Lakota East 9th place in OHSAA state meet and Regional runner-up.  Oak Hills SW District Runner-up. 

Football: Lakota West (Elite 8) Regional Runner-up and Colerain (Sweet 16) Regional Semi-finalist 

Girls Soccer:  Lakota West Regional Finalist (Elite 8) and SW District Champs and Mason Regional Semi-finalist (Sweet 16) and SW District Champs. 

Boys Soccer: Oak Hills, Mason and Sycamore SW District Champions and Regional Semi-finalists Mason and Sycamore (Sweet 16)

Girls Tennis: Mason OTCA State Team Champions and Shyla Aggarwal (Mason) state runner-up in 1st singles.

Boys Golf:  Mason SW District Runner-up with both Mason and Lakota East OHSAA State qualifiers.  Mason finished 5th in OHSAA state tournament and Lakota East finished 7th.

Girls Golf:  Mason SW District runner-up with Mason and Sycamore qualifying for the OHSAA state tournament. Mason was the OHSAA state tournament runner-up with Sycamore finishing in 8th place.

All things considered and under unusual circumstances Greater Miami Conference teams acquitted themselves extremely well on a state-wide level. Congratulations to all conference athletes and coaches for an job extremely well done!  GMC proud!
