Volleyball

Kory is a team captain, leader and a major reason why we're 6-2 on the season and 2-1 in the GMC. Kory has totaled 77 kills (team leader, 4th in the GMC), 14 aces (team leader, 6th in the GMC), 39 digs and 9 blocks.


Ashlynn Roberts

Fairfield - Senior
Softball

Ashlynn had a 3-0 week on the mound defeating Oak Hills, Colerain, and #1 Mason. She is hitting .417 offensively and leads the team in RBI's with 10. She hit her first homerun of the season against Oak Hills. Ashlynn is 5-1 in her appearances pitching and has one save to her credit this season so far.


Adam McDonough

Lakota East - Junior
Baseball

Adam is a junior on the Lakota East Baseball Team. He has had a great start to the season hitting 500 this year. His play in the field and at the plate has been outstanding. He works hard every day and the results are showing.


Rachel Lewis

Lakota East - Freshman
Softball

Rachel is a freshman on the Lakota East Softball Team. She is leading the team in hitting (approx…600 avg.) and is an extremely versatile and flexible athlete. Rachel works hard on her game every day.


Chris Martin

Mason - Senior
Baseball

Chris is a senior on the varsity baseball team. He has started the 2014 season strong, coming off an injury that kept him off the field all last season. Chris was the winning pitcher against against Grove City. In an important GMC battle, Chris tossed 6 strong innnings to help Mason to the win.


Hannah Mizener

Mason - Senior
Softball

Hannah is a senior outfielder on the girls softball team. She is hitting .346 with 12 RBIs and a league-leading 3 homeruns. In addition to being an important senior leader to the softball team, Hannah is an excellent student with a 4.28 GPA.


Austin Allinger

Lakota West - Junior
Baseball

Austin was the winning pitcher over Princeton on Monday raising his season record to two wins and no losses, with one save. He also started the week with a three game hitting streak going 6 for 8 as the Firebirds added three more GMC wins to take the lead in the league standings.


Madeline Kurtz

Lakota West - Junior
Softball

Madeline pitched a five inning perfect game in a win over Princeton on Monday. She faced 15 batters striking out 11. This was her first no hitter and the first Firebird no hitter since 2011. Kurtz was also effective at the plate in this game with two hits in her three at bats, one a double to drive in a run. On Wednesday she pitched a shutout over Colerain to raise her season record to 4-0.
