Football

Charles Solomon, Senior football quarterback- He was 17 for 18 on Friday night. He passed for 5 touchdowns to 5 different receivers and had 260 passing yards.


Samanatha Campbell

Middletown - Junior
Golf

Samantha Campbell has been working hard since the beginning of the season. She recorded a 98 at GMC’s first day of competition. She recently recorded a 49 at the Valley View Invitational. She has shown great leadership by helping our newest members of the team. She not only works hard on the course but in the classroom as well.


Conant Smith

Middletown - Sophomore
Cross Country

Finished 2nd at the Centerville Night Lights. with a time of 15:14 that time ranks him 5th in the State and is the 3rd Fastest Sophomore time in the Nation.


Noah Johnson

Middletown - Senior
Golf

Placed 9th at Boys GMC Golf Tournament with a two day total of 156. Received 1st team recognition as a result. On saturday, Noah placed second in the Hadley Invitational (finished after a two week delay) with a 75.


Justin Beeren

Lakota West - Senior
Golf

Justin carded a two over par 74 tying for the second best round of the day on Thursday at this years Greater Miami Conference tournament held on Glenview golf course. Beerens went into the tournament’s second day tied for 26th, but his final round vaulted him into a tie for ninth earning a spot on this years All GMC first team.


Florine Sanchez

Lakota West - Sophomore
Tennis

Florine won the B flight third singles championship in this weekend’s Greater Cincinnati Tennis Coaches Association Tournament. She was the highest tournament placer on the Lakota West team. On Tuesday Sanchez was part of the winning 1st doubles pair that gave West a 3-2 victory over Lakota East in the annual challenge cup match. Her overall won/lost record for the week was 5-0. So far this year she has posted wins as part of the 1st doubles pair and at all three singles positions.


Payton Lewis

Hamilton - Senior
Tennis

Senior Tri-Captain Payton Lewis' individual overall record is 11-10. When teamed up with freshman, Ella Dollenmeyer at #1 doubles, Payton and Ella are 9-5, and won the #1 Doubles Championship in their flight in the Coach's Calssic. Payton has been instrumental in developing the confidence and skill of our talented freshman


Deanna McPeak

Hamilton - Senior
Tennis

Senior Tri-Captain Deanna McPeak's individual overall record is 17-6. When teamed up with 1st year junior, Sarah Howard, at either #1 or #2 Doubles they have been UNDEFEATED this year with a record of 13-0 overall and 5-0 in conference play. They also won the #2 Doubles Chamionship in their flight of the Coach's Classic! Deanna has been a fabulous mentor to the younger players on the team! Additionally, Deanna is one of, if not the, TOP student in the senior class!


Amaya Turner

“Amaya is strong tennis player. She showed her skills last week in a tough match vs Mason and then in the Coaches Classic on Thursday and Saturday. She finished in the top bracket as runner up after a 3 hour match up vs Princeton. She played very consistent the whole time, executing some great points.”


Josiah Scott

Fairfield - Senior
Football

“Josiah played a huge role in our 29-7 victory over Lakota West on Friday night. He intercepted a pass in the end zone to halt a scoring drive by West. Then he returned a kickoff 98 yards for a touchdown. This tied a school record. Finally, to polish things off, he scooped up a fumbled punt and ran it back 42 yards for another touchdown.”


Paige Knorr

Oak Hills - Senior
Soccer

This past week Paige Knorr helped her team go 3-0 against the #4, #7 and #11 ranked teams in the city, by scoring 5 goals! Paige currently leads the GMC in goals and points. Not only does she help her team win on the field, but she is also a winner in the classroom with a 3.8 GPA!


Syndey Jones

Oak Hills - Sophomore
Tennis

At first singles, Sydney was 2-0 this past week with wins over Kings and Hamilton. She was also runner-up at the coaches classic tournament for first singles.


Devin Ulrich

Oak Hills - Senior
Cross Country

Captain Devin Ulrich placed 18th in the Harrison Invitational this past Saturday. Devin has placed as the team's number 3 runner in each race this season. Last season Devin was the number 6 runner. She has worked really hard this season and has made a lot of improvements since last season.


Charles Visconti

Oak Hills - Senior
Cross Country

Charlie Visconti ran in Centerville's Saturday Night Lights and ran a personal best of 17:50 for the Varsity team. Charlie missed the entire 2015 season and has worked extremely hard to where he is. He is a big part of our team and continues to improve everyday.
