Andrew Whitaker

Lakota West - Senior
Track

Andrew brought home the only Firebird wins at this weeks GMC championship meet He finished first in both the 110 meter and 300 meter hurdles. Whitaker's winning time over the 300 hurdles was good for both a Lakota West and a Lakota School District record. The previous Firebird record had stood since 2007 and the Lakota District record had been set back in 1993.


Bekah Robertson

Lakota West - Senior
Track

Bekah was the only Firebird to place in three individual events at this weeks GMC championship meet. She earned all GMC honorable mention honors with fourth place finishes in both the 100 meter and 300 meter hurdles. Robertson added an 8th place finish in the high jump.


Conant Smith

Middletown - Sophomore
Track

Earned 2nd team all conference honors in the 800m and the 1600m, 3rd team in the 4x400 relay and Honorable Mention in the 4x800 relay at the GMC Championships last week


Marquise Petty

Middletown - Senior
Track

Earned 2nd team all conference honors in the Long Jump with a PR of 22'00.25 and 3rd team in the 4x400 relay at the GMC Championships last week


Rachel Heidtman

Middletown - Sophomore
Track

Earned 2nd team all conference honors in the Discus and 3rd team in the Shot Put at the GMC Championships last week


Sam Campbell

Middletown - Junior
Track

Earned 3rd team all conference honors in the Pole Vault at the GMC Championships last week


Ethan Hubbard

Lakota East - Sophomore
Volleyball

Ethan is a 2nd year varsity starter. He comes to practice each day ready to work. He currently leads the Thunderhawks in kills and is also one of their top passers.


Joseph Cooney

Lakota East - Senior
Baseball

Joseph is a 3 year letterman for the Thunderhawks. On Monday April 24th he set the District Strikeout record with 19k’s in a 6-1 complete game win over Middletown. Joseph will continue his baseball career at Belmont Abbey


James Grace

Mason - Senior
Baseball

James, an outfielder, currently has a .321 Ave. 17 SB's 10 RBI 15 Runs. He has been one of our offensive keys this season. He has done a great job getting on base and when he does he creates opportunities for us in multiple ways. He has also played a great LF for us as well, making several tough running catches that most players just don't get to.
