Ethan Rowe

Middletown - Sophomore

Ethan tore up the lanes last week at 2 different matches. On Tuesday, he threw 2 very nice games of 235 and 211 against Deer Park for a 446 series! Then again on Thursday, against GMC opponent Sycamore, he bowled 2 more nice games of 224 and 211 for a 435 series! Ethan is currently #1 in GMC rankings for high average, which is a 230.8! Way to go Ethan

Jackson Ford

Lakota West - Senior

Jackson was the Lakota West boys highest scoring swimmer and only event winner at this Saturday’s Madiera Quad meet. Ford’s first place finish came in the 100 yard backstroke. To that he added a second in the 100 yard butterfly and second place legs on the 200 medley and 400 freestyle relay foursomes.

Paige Strilely

Lakota West - Freshman

Paige registered a four event sweep by earning wins in four races; the individual 200 yard freestyle and individual 100 yard butterfly , as well as victories in the 200 medley and 400 relay races. She was the only four event winner irrespective of school in the Madiera Quad meet.

Grace Boles

Middletown - Junior

Grace had 4 pts and a team/season high 9 rebs (4 offensive) versus county rival Hamilton on Saturday.

Ari Layne

Middletown - Junior

Ari had her best all around performance of the season thus far on Saturday against Hamilton. She had 8 pts (2-3 from 3pt range), 5 rebs, 1 asst, 2 stls and 1 blk. She also played well defensively throughout the contest.

Makina Gibson

Middletown - Senior

Makina bounced back from a tough performance vs West to turn in another signature defensive effort vs Hamilton. Her offense was very solid as she had 9 pts (3-4 FG) and 3 asst (tied for game high)

Samill Calhoun

Middletown - Junior

Calhoun's scoring fueled a team comeback in the 2nd half vs Hamilton which led to the team's first victory of the season. She had a game high 15 pts, 7 rebs, 2 assts and a game high 3 stls

Ashley Davis

Princeton - Junior

In victories against Hamilton and Sycamore Ashley scored 31 points while shooting 53% from the field and pulling down 10 rebounds. Ashley is second in the GMC in scoring and the Vikings are 5-0.

Cody Carlson

Princeton - Sophomore

Princeton Sophomore, Cody Carlson is second in the GMC and bowled a 494 series against Reading and a 450 series in the Western Bowl Holiday classic.

Abbey Schmidt

Oak Hills - Sophomore

Straight A student and 100% dedicated to all that she does. At our swim invitational, Abbey took an alternate role and filled in many of the needs of the team

Joey Ryan

Oak Hills - Senior

Joey has lead the team with a positive attitude, hard work, and excellent leadership. She finished the 400 relay with a personal best.

Tristan Fox

Oak Hills - Senior

Tristan is an excellent student-athlete, a first year swimmer new to the sport, but during our invitational over the weekend, Tristan filled big events that he has never participated in before.

Camryn Gramke

Oak Hills - Senior

Camryn, a senior guard, scored a game-high and career-high 15 points in a win over Fairfield, including 3 of 3 from 3-point range. She followed that up with a season-high four assists in a loss at Lakota West. She is currently 2nd in the GMC in 3-point field goal percent (55), tied for 5th in assists and 8th in steals. She also has a 3.56 GPA and is a team co-captain.

Jacob Berkemeier

Oak Hills - Senior

Jacob scored 18 points, had 8 rebounds and 1 steal in a GMC win over Lakota West. He is also an outstanding student, is active in community service, and is a 3 sport athlete.

Aliah McWhorter

Sycamore - Junior

In Girls Varsity Basketball, Aliah had a big week with 21 pts. & 6 rebs. vs Princeton along with 8 pts. vs Mason

Max Guo

Sycamore - Senior

Max is a 4th year Varsity Chess player and received his 4th straight GMC All-First Team honor last week! He also shows great leadership by volunteering as the Coach for the Chinese school chess team.

Nicholas Cafarelli

Hamilton - Junior

Nicholas has shown consistent improvement dropping his 100 backstroke time all season long. He has also helped the boys team accumulate points by earning several high place finishes this season. This year, he’s also participating in diving and will make his debut this Saturday at the Bellbrook Diving Invitational.

Lauren Zink

Fairfield - Senior

“Lauren leads the team rolling a six-game average of 184. Lauren led the Lady Indians to a 7th place finish in the Holiday Classic, rolling which included a high game of 204. Lauren is currently 5th in the GMC in overall average with a 172.7.”

Andrew Newkirk

Fairfield - Junior

“Andrew has struggled early in the season but bounced back huge on Friday with an exciting victory over a tough Lebanon opponent. Andrew has been working hard and hopes to continue getting better. Way to go, Andrew!”

Ethan Howard

Mason - Senior

Ethan helped lead the Comets to victories over Kings and Colerain. Ethan had 17 pts to lead the Comets vs. Kings. He added 16 pts vs. Colerain. Currently Ethan is Averaging 13 pts a game. He is shooting 71.4% from the 3 point line and a 100% from the free throw line.

Megan Wagner

Mason - Junior

Megan continues to make valuable contributions to the Comet Varsity Girls Basketball program. She is a three-year varsity player at guard. She is often the "glue" that makes everything work and a stronger leader on the team. She has scored double digits in four of Mason's six games, leading the team with 16 versus Middletown.

Alex Swinney

Lakota East - Freshman

Alex is averaging 202 through 6 games with high games of 242, 246 and 231. All 3 games of Alex's high games have come in each 3 matches the Varsity bowling team has played.

Anna Schambow

Lakota East - Senior

Anna is averaging 154 through 6 games covering 3 matches. Anna has had high games of 179 and 186. Anna has improved 50 pins over her 2 seasons on the bowling team.
