Cici is being recognized for her efforts in the Big Blue Girls victory over the Colerain Cardinals on Saturday. She earned a double-double with 23 points and 13 rebounds. On the season, she is averaging 15 points per game and 9.2 rebounds per game. She is also a model student enrolled in college prep level courses at Hamilton High School.


Griffin Manning

Lakota West - Junior
Swimming

Griffin won the 100 yard breast stroke and was runner-up in the 200 yard individual medley at the Princeton Invitational on Saturday. Manning tied for the highest individual point total on the Lakota West boys team helping the Firebirds to a second place finish in this 14 school meet. Manning's time in the 200 I.M. was the fastest in the entire Lakota swim program this year.


Jasmine Ballew

Lakota West - Junior
Basketball

Jasmine, coming off the bench in the sixth player roll, scored in double figures in both Wednesday's GMC win at Middletown and Saturday's GMC win over Fairfield at home. Ballew tallied 11 points against the Middies and 13 points in the win over the Indians. In addition she was the game high rebounder with 6 boards on Saturday and for the week was three for three from beyond the three point arc.


McKenzy Kleinholz

Gymnastics

McKenzey placed 2nd on beam, 8th on floor, and 5th All-Around at the Oak Hills Crosstown Flip Out Invitational on Sunday.


Adam Goldfuss

Oak Hills - Junior
Wrestling

Adam went 10-0 over the weekend at the Highlander Duals and was named to the All-Tournament Team at 170 lbs. Adam's record on the year now stands at 22-6 with 8 pins. His 22 wins leads the GMC at 170 lbs.


Danielle Martini

Bowling

Danielle made the All-Tournament Team for the Back to School Bash Tournament and both were also big factors in our 2nd place finish at the Cincinnati High School Classic on January 6th.


Dez Bolden

Dez made the All-Tournament Team for the Back to School Bash Tournament and both were also big factors in our 2nd place finish at the Cincinnati High School Classic on January 6th.


Nick Deifel

Oak Hills - Junior
Basketball

Nick scored 22 points, had 6 rebounds and 7 assists in a GMC wins over Colerain and Middletown. He also played a key role in defending those opponent's leading scorers.


Brooke Spaulding

“Brooke has been leading our Indians to our success in many ways. Stats for the week: Oak Hills - 14 points, 3 assists, 5 rebounds, 4 steals and 1 block. Lakota West - 4 steals, 5 rebounds, 4 assists and 3 points. Those are the stats, but her leadership really has the team playing well.”


Rob Horton

Fairfield - Senior
Bowling

“Rob has had a good week on the lanes. He averaged 216.5 this week. He is currently 4th in the GMC with a 214.8 average. Rob led his team to a victory over Middletown and helped his team to a 5th place finish at the Back 2 School Bash. Rob is a strong supporter and strong influence on his teammates. Good job this week, Rob, keep up the good work.”


Allison Bloebaum

Mason - Junior
Swimming

Allison is a junior on the Mason Girls Swimming Team. Allison is having an outstanding season for the Comets after finished state runner-up in 2 individual events as well as a state championship relay last year. This past weekend against the defending state champions, Upper Arlington, she raced against the girl who won state in the 500 free & beat her convincingly! Allison is an incredible worker & it has shown over her high school years. She continues to excel each year. Allison is a pleasure to coach & has a great personality.


Ethan Devyak

Mason - Junior
Swimming

Ethan is a junior on Mason Boys Swimming Team. Ethan is having an outstanding season for the Comets. He has been our top individual qualifier at each meet. Ethan will swim any event that you ask him to swim and he will give 110%. Coach Sullivan says Ethan is one of the hardest workers he has coached in his career. He is a pleasure to work with on a day to day basis. Ethan is a 2-time state qualifier and will lead our team to a top 10 finish at state where should finish in the top 8 individually in his events.


Keith Enrico

Lakota East - Junior
Swimming

Keith is a junior on the East Boys Swimming Team. Keith has been providing leadership to the East boys team with a positive attitude, work ethic and attendance at practice. He finished 2nd this past weekend in 100 Back, and 3rd in 100 Fly at the Princeton Invitational. He was also a member of the 2 and 3rd place relay teams at this meet.


Sarah Yanzsa

Lakota East - Senior
Swimming

Sarah is a senior on the East Girls Swimming Team. Sarah is the senior leader of a very young East girls team providing them with spirit and a great work ethic. Sarah was on the 2nd and 5th place relays this weekend as well as finishing 3rd in the 100 Free and 7th in the 200 free at the Princeton invitational.
