Ava Mattia

Hamilton - Junior

Ava has started as a middle hitter, libero, then finally settling as an outside hitter, filling each job for us as injuries arose. She has already accumulated this year 75 kills (doubling her last year's season total) and 162 digs.

Ma’kayla Prince

Hamilton - Junior

Ma’kayla has appeared in 51 total games in 3 years as a soccer player, accumulating 11 points. The girls varsity team recently beat Kings in the first round of the playoffs.

Alex McAfee

Colerain - Junior

Alex has scored 4 goals and an assist in leading the boys soccer team to two victories in the Sectional Tournament. He is second in the GMC in total points for the year and has been a consistent leader the entire year. Congratulations Alex on a great year!!

Uriah Dawson

Colerain - Senior

Uriah Dawson is the definition of a model Colerain High School cheerleader. Uriah displays such a strong commitment to cheerleading and always exudes such enthusiasm and excitement while cheering especially since she always has a huge smile on her face! Uriah also exemplifies all of the characteristics of a model student. Uriah is always a team player and is such an integral part of the Varsity cheerleading squad! Congratulations to Uriah on the football season and good luck during basketball season!

Cannon Kartye

Oak Hills - Junior
Cross Country

Cannon came through huge for the Highlanders on Saturday at districts. After a series of ups and downs the past few weeks, he made the decision to leave all excuses behind and have the race of his life. Above all else, his ability to overcome his own self-doubt was the most impressive. Cannon broke 17 minutes for the first time, running 16:52 and crossing the line as the #2 Oak Hills runner. His race helped earn the Highlanders a 4th place finish and a chance to run at regionals next week.

Patrick Gibbons

Oak Hills - Senior

Patrick had his first two career varsity rushing TD's in last week's dominant victory over Harrison. Patrick is a blue-collar type of player who has embodied TEAM first all season.

Megan John

Oak Hills - Senior
Cross Country

This past Saturday, Megan had an incredibly impactful race at the District Championships. She placed 12th overall with a season's best time of 19:15 to help the team to a 2nd place team finish. Megan is an exceptional leader and continues to get stronger and improve at each race.
